William Shatner
I could try to throw a lot of random facts about William Shatner out here. But I assume many of my loyal readers are trekkies (especially you, FGS (Fort Worth, TX)*), and already have most of this memorized. I was just reading about him, though, and he is quite interesting. Some random thoughts: he and Leonard Nemoy were born four days apart, he's Canadian (Wiki Karmel's favorite nationality), and he is an evil serial killer.
What? Captain Kirk? Never. Well....sort of. A mask of William Shatner painted white, with the sideburns cut off and the eye holes enlarged, was the mask that Michael Myers wore in the movie Halloween. While most loyal readers know that Wiki Karmel despises horror movies (upon seeing House of 1000 Corpses, WK had to sleep with his lights on for four days), The Great Wiki Karmel actually enjoys the 80's horror genre (Friday the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street). He has even seen Freddy v. Jason in the theaters (and it was fantastic).
Unfortunately for The Great Wiki Karmel, Rob Zombie, the director of House of 1000 Corpses (or HO1KC, as it is known by fans), has signed on to do the new Halloween movie. It will supposedly be part prequel, part remake. Oy...
